Ms. Kamerrer grew up in Olympia and graduated from Olympia High School in 1998. She earned a B.A. from the University of Puget Sound in Sociology, with a minor in Spanish. In 2005 she obtained a Juris Doctorate from the Seattle University School of Law. While in law school, she gained practical experience by working for a family law attorney, for a business and tax firm, and for the City of Auburn as a prosecution intern.

After law school, she continued gaining criminal law and trial experience as a prosecutor at the Thurston County Prosecutor's Office. She is currently the City of Shelton Prosecuting Attorney. Ms. Kamerrer is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Thurston County Bar Association. Ms. Kamerrer will be emphasizing practice in the areas of Criminal Law, Employment Law Estate Planning and Probate.
