Ms. English grew up in western Washington and graduated valedictorian from Kentridge High School in 1998. Ms. English attended Seattle University and graduated in 2002 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. She subsequently attended Seattle University of Law and received her Juris Doctorate in 2005. While in law school, Ms. English interned at the United States Department of Veteran's Affairs in Seattle where she practiced employment law and mediation. She also volunteered through Seattle University's Access to Justice Institute where she focused on immigration rights for battered women facing removal proceedings.
Susequent to law school, Ms. English gained significant trial experience while she served as Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for three years in both Lewis and Thurston counties. As a prosecutor, she handled a variety of criminal cases and gained experience practicing in District, Juvenile and Superior courts.
Ms. English is a memeber of the Washington State Bar Association and Thurston County Bar Association. Her practice areas include Estate Planning and Probate, General Civil Litigation and Criminal Law. Ms. English also currently serves as the City Prosectuor for the City of Shelton.
